Well folks..I just finished my new book "The life and times of a Cajun Icon" and I wanted to share a few excerpts

Ever since the success of my first book a couple yrs ago, "The travels of Cooter and Bubba", I've wanted to do a biography and who better than my old buddy Elson :smoke: Now, I didn't have time to show you some of Elson's early accomplishment, like the time when he was very young and stole the key to the binocular box in the crow's nest off the Titanic, but all that is in the book.

Here are just a few of the events in Elson's life starting back in the 50's when he was still young and single ;)

Now you remember Elson was in the Navy, but what you didn't know was that he was at one time stationed in Hawaii. :yo: He was single and met a local girl and at the time they were almost engaged.

Here's a picture of Elson and the girl. Shortly after this picture, (9 months to be exact) Elson up and left the poor girl and never heard from her again...hmmmm.

Now fast forward a few years and Elson decides he loves to fool with guns and opens a gun shop. Although, that didn't last very long.

Here's Elson with one of his first customers. :D

Shortly after the failed gun shop venture, Elson decided that he could put his talents as a Cajun cook to use and opened a cooking school. For some reason it also was a failure

Here's a picture of Elson and his only student, Jeffery. :smoke: Reckon what they're cutting up?

Although Elson's ventures had so far been a bust, during the 90's he hit it big as a financial adviser  He made so much money he was able to retire and now just builds all sorts of things for companies.

A photo of Elson and the guy he advised :D

Like I said, Elson made so much money he started building stuff and his last project brought him hundreds of thousands of dollars. Here he is with a CEO of a major corporation after he sold the guy a preventer on a rig off the coast of Louisiana :yikes: Just look at the expression on his face after Tony puts in an order for 100 more of the preventers

These are just a few of the endeavors of our friend Elson. You'll have to buy my book to get the rest of the story. Just mail me $29.99 + S/H and I'll send you an autographed copy

Hope you enjoyed this teaser :smoke:

Oh, a question: will the paperback edition also be autographed?:smoke:
