WELL I GUESS NO ONE WANTS A SCORPION FORUM.

I see that Whites has a similar machine, the GMZ for $499 but it's a 50khz machine
unlike the Scorpion at 15khz which makes it an all around versatile gold, coin and jewlery
machine. Could one use the 50khz for coin and jewlery as well?

I think it would be great to have a Scorpion Gold Forhim....I mean Forum:heh:

now that everyone will want one................the promise of gold and silver rings.................I think I'll go out and get an older
Relco BFO  NOT!

The Whites GMZ is not made for coin and jewelry hunting. It has absolutely no discriminating circuitry. I guess it could be used to look for coins and jewelry, but you'd be diggin' up every tiny staple and tack/pieces of wire, etc. It is a good prospecting machine, with manual ground balance and the ability to find extemely tiny(pinhead)sized gold nuggets. Not as deep on matchead sized or larger nuggets as the Scorpion is, but it'll find much tinier ones near(or on)the surface.:biggrin:Happy Hunting!:)
