after reading in andy's book that the arm cuff was a "weak" point in the design, i looked into Jeff Herke's arm cuff. After talking with Chuck at Indian Nations, I bought it. No question it gives better balance, but there is no longer that "give" that the plastic cuff has. I also bought the neoprene cover which has the Minelab logo on it...looks cool. chris

[size=large]just to give chuck a little plug i thought i'd mention i got mine from indian nations detectors also. chuck doesn't waste any time on getting it to you and i think it was free shipping. you'll be happyest with the cuff/ stand combo.makes the detector alot more stable on the ground. holds it up a little higher and isn't cheap looking or wobbly. very well made.jmho

I have considered one of those cuffs from Chuck as well. Will they help any with the wrist/elbow/shoulder issues some of us get from swinging these Explorers?!
