good to be home and get back to my normal routine, other then losing my pictures from my bone head blind move on little round top at Gettysburg in the dark cold rain and not wearing my glasses  I had a great trip! :clapping:

Brandy, you are the best my friend :clapping: and the one picture that really kills me that I lost is the shot of you accepting the Golden Whelk award sitting behind the wheel of the Mighty Tundra, hahaha
Bubba added a pallet to it folks and I added, well, you know what I added, my two front teeth that Elson wanted so badly ;)

My trip was everything that I hoped for, meeting a long time friend from this forum for the first time and hunting ground that is older then DW
I got to get into Brandy's little part of this world, hang out at his shop, see in person his second to none wood work, his work is amazing and the pictures that he post of his amazing work don't do his talented work justice! Brandy is not only good at what he does but is among the tops in his field and that's why they call on Brandy :super:

Brandy still uses the old tools of his trade and lots of elbow grease, he does it all with his magical hands, you will find no fancy machines in Brandy's little shop, just a bunch of what looks like worn out hand tools to the naked eye like mine but are gold to Brandy and his trade :clapping:

Brandy is everything that I knew he was, a great down to earth guy that like me likes to keep things simple in life and loves history and works on it, Brandy lives it in his everyday life, it doesn't get any better then that folks and Brandy lives it without all the hype :yo:

Brandy has boxes of history that he has found over the years detecting and doing the flea market thing that would make your eye balls pop out, he never talks about them but trust me, his collection is as good as any in these United States :usaflag:

Thanks for allowing me into your world Brandy, would love to come back and hang out with you and hunt that 1600's ground again, your one of the good guys but I knew that already :clapping:

I was surprised when you said you wanted to come all the way up here just to see me and dig some find we me.We been on the forum for a long time together so I was real happy to hear you were coming up to get to dig in this dark soil.I was hoping that Linda's place [1790 house] was going to be the highlight of places I had planed to go to but that all fell apart when she didn't want us up there without her dogging us around. But it turned out great when we stopped at the field[1754] by the flea market to talk to the guy coming down the back part of the field on a bulldozer. We got a few goody from there.I wise I knew when he started up that thing he was going to push that dirt in to that cellar hole.I'm hoping to get back there before the frost there should be some more good digging there and the house across the street which looks to be as old as the field.Sure glad you got your coil over some good finds Ray.The fields up here can be slow hunting but you got to remember they didn't have a lot to lose, there just NE dirt farmers.Sure hope we get together some day and do it again. You have to come back anyway to take some photos around here to remember the trip.:cam:=
