Well I made it home, the trip was great but ............

being home is nice :clapping:

I had to drive the last 35 miles last night without any running lights or head lights  holding a flash light aiming it at the road in front of me. Thought for sure I would see a cop and get pulled over but didn't see one cop and after replacing the battery and driving 16 hours non stop I wanted to get home and I made it, couldn't believe I didn't see a cop the whole way home, it was to late to call Craig so I went for it :look:

The car is in the shop now, Craig and Vickie are letting me use the jeep for a few days until the old cheve is back on the road, I think maybe next time I'll fly

Was on my way home from working out of town and had about a hundred miles left to the house. The company work truck I had was old and it was pouring rain, All of a sudden our wiper motor kicked the bucket. I tied a rope between the arms of the wipers and around the door post of the truck and had a loop through the cab. My helper then slid the rope back and forth and wala instant wipers. We made it alright too but he did have a sore arm. I like your thinking Ray, anything in a pinch... Flipper out
