I get paid tomorrow so I think I'm gonna blow some money!!! I am going to order a:

Tinytec pinpointer: (ordering online)
http://www.tinytec-probes.com/pagesales.html (the $45 one)

I found a MD supply store like 10 miles away from me, so I'm going to go check it out.

Sand Scoop for the beaches here (THE PRIVATEER SAND SCOOP (#755))

Digging Knife (R-225 3 IN 1 KNIFE W / SHEATH)

I know they are not the best, but they are better than what I have now, nothing...
Also I wold like to keep the cost down...

check your PM.........

When digging with the sand scoop...don't shove hard into the wet sand using your foot on the wire basket...they don't have the support for heavy pressure and can bend.

Also the knife (soil knife) is like one I have used...be careful with it...don't use it to pry up your find...I've snapped the blade on one before. Great for cutting and digging but not designed for prying.

I don't know of anyone using a TinyTec pinpointer so don't know if it is worth the money. Maybe Mike from MI has elaborated on it in the PM to you. Hate to see you spend money and make the mistakes some of us have made...yep..I've bent the wire cage on my sand scoop, snapped the blade on a digging tool and even bought a pinpointer that was next to useless.

Better to ask around for what people suggest than to just run out and spend money. We'd rather see you be happy and feel you spent your money wisely. I could sure kick myself for 'impulse' buys.
