my sister and my Mississippi cousin, yesterday, I finally found my poems after a lot of searching (Ma is so disorganized) and after scanning and getting them ready for updating on the forum...here they are! These have been posted before, but couldn't find my CD discs that I had saved them on, I think, so had to take paper copies and scan them all over again! Hope they are readable and the message of each one gets into everyone's heart who reads them! Sorry that I got the title wrong as it is "Jesus Lives" instead of He Lives! I have one titled He's Alive but it is about Jesus raising Lazarus out of his tomb after being dead four days! May God Bless! Amen! Ma Betty

What lovely poetry Ma Betty. Thank you for going to the trouble of re-posting for us again this year. I personally can't thank you enough. God has given you beautiful ability of using words to paint a vivid picture in the readers mind. God Bless you my dear sister in Christ!

Thank you, Gopher John, kind sir and Brother-in-Christ! I have been writing poems, specially for my Lord, since Jan 1, 1987 but did write some before then for our club and some of my friends! I have written over 3000...some very short but many very long...I don't quit writing until the Holy Spirit quits giving the poem to me...sometimes I think He's finished and then more words come! I don't write them like I used to do and it is hard to keep up with where I put them when I lay them in piles and add other papers to them for saving, as I don't get them filed in notebooks like when I was writing so many each year and trying to keep up with filing and storing them...I also have most of the Titles listed separately and even under A, B, C and etc. but Ma forgets where I have them, also, when I don't put things back in place! :blush: I have written some with the same titles, so tried to go through and change or do some over but didn't finish that either......did I say late and procrastination are my middle names?

I have sent copies of many of them out to people who I used to correspond with and then they gave copies out to their church members, relatives and friends, so they are all over the USA and I hope they have saved and/or brought some back to Jesus by the words written within! I like to know if anyone reads them as I need encouragement just like many others do when living alone or in poor health or just need uplifted in their spirit! God in Jesus' name gives us spiritual elation through His Holy Word, the Bible, and through poetry and writings that other people do by the leading and guidiing of His Holy Spirit...but when there is no feed-back it leaves me and others wondering if we are doing any good or just wasting time! I want to thank Bro Martin for His post today about the posting of God's Word that if just one person reads and gets saved and/or helped by it...then it is worth it! Thanks Martin because you spoke right to me and I am thankful for your posting like you did!
