I had been praying for God, in Jesus' precious name, to send someone to help me with the yard! I was outside, yesterday, pulling weeds out of the yard and then raking leaves and removing dead growth from the Mums I had planted last year! While I was doing that, Jim, my neighbor in the back rode by on his riding mower pulling a trailer! I was wondering if he was starting his own lawnmowing business, but he wasn't, as he does his aunt's mowing and it was getting too far for him to walk, so she paid for half and he paid for half of the trailer! She is 98 and in the nursing home! She doesn't know anyone most of the time and thinks Jim is her son, Geroge!

Well, while we were talking and he asked about us and found out it was Cliff who had been in the hospitals, he said he would mow my lawn and did today, although it has been raining some but not a lot! He also dumped the shredded leaves on a tarp and then bagged them, which I was going to do, but not today...oh my aching back, hips and legs!! He asked if I had any bags and I gave him all I had and told him I would get some more when I go shopping! He said my lawn was really in bad shape and I told him I hadn't cut it at all this Spring and he said you didn't last Fall either and I said probably true, as Cliff and I were both ill and were most of the winter!

He is charging me $30.00 for what he's done already..mowing the whole yard and trimming and if I would like the lawn cut every week, it will be $20.00 each time or $30.00 for every two weeks! I am so happy to have the lawn mowing our of my hands, as I don't trim, and it is very difficult for me to mow anymore and Cliff can't, so Praise God, for HIs love, mercy and His grace in having that taken care of and now all I have to keep up with is getting things packed and moved and keep the house clean when I get it listed for sale, Still have some other jobs that Cliff and I cannot do in the house, but I know my Lord will help me to take care of that too! God is so good to me and Cliff and I Thank Jesus, for His love for us, also! God Bless you all and may He be good and merciful to you and your families, as we need Him and cannot do without His caring for us! Amen! Betty

a big help in keeping the appearance of the landscaping up when he cuts it regularly. First impressions are important to home buyers. Steve in so az

I would have done it for free, If I lived down the street! :)

I am sure you would offer to do it free, but I would pay you anyway, as that is a lot of work! I really like Jim doing it, for he is good about mowing and trimming it neatly and removing the cuttings! He is also putting the filled bags in his yard waste pick up which he has all year! If I have yard waste pick up, I have to pay for at least 3 months, so this also helps me financially! He lives behind me, his yard and my yard have the same fence! He keeps his yard very neat and works in it almost all the time! So, if he looks at my lawn, he needs to see that it is neat like his or might say HEY---WHAT HAPPENED??? :) I am so thankful that I don't have to worry about the lawn looking neat for buyers to see and I know God will provide the money I need to pay him! My finances will be much better for me when I get this house up for sale and sold! :) God Bless! Betty

Thanks everyone and, Yes, keeping my yard looking nice will pay off when I get it up for sale! I just cannot keep up with everything any more.... May the Lord's blessings be upon each one of you! :) Betty
