And no, I didn't take a picture of it. Suffice to say that the beach is flat as a pancake, sanded in, and dismally target-challenged.
Still, had a nice time. Temps around 50, so not too cold. I used the Excal and my buddy Jack took a turn at hunting with the Quattro with the 12.5" coil. We both dug some super-deep targets. Jack got a signal off of a small piece of wire that was over a foot deep that my Excal wouldn't even null on or anything...like there was nothing there. Makes me think it would be good for hard-to-get stuff like chains, where every little bit counts.
