Obama accepts his nobel prize tonight. As I sit here pondering just how to put my thoughts into words I find myself drawing a blank. Forget the fact that he only attended 244 (give or take a few) meetings of congress as an elected congressman from Chicago. Forget the fact that the cutoff date for the Nobel Prize nomination was Feb. 1st, less that 2 weeks after he took office. How can a person with any moral fiber look anyone in the eye and accept such a nomination? How can a "man" accept the nomination for a "Peace Prize" with less than 14 days of on-the-job-training for one of the most powerful nations on the planet? There was a time that the Peace Prize stood for something. They tarnished it by giving it to Al Gore but now they have completely ruined the honor. How can he, with a straight face, even accept the nomination let alone the award? If I were to put any other name into this text besides his, you would laugh me out of the house for such a rediculous situation. We continue to grow as a laughing stock among nations.
