When we get back we have to unpack and try to catch up the work around the house,See all the stuff we bought at yard sale's and well you know what I mean. It's hard being Elson.

Uh! Now we got to start packing again,Yeah we got to go to Branson,Mo. this coming Sat.for about a week.Damn life is good.

My kind o' travelin

Dang Elson, i needs a trip away.
I missed a week long stay at the OBX last month simply because
i couldn't git anyone to tend to my critters for the week.
Janet went without me but she didn't take her tector with her and that's jist not riiiiiiight.

Come spring, i'm gonna stick 'em in the barn 'cross the road and head south
with my DFX and a sack o' batteries. :detecting:
Well, actualy, it will be :twodetecting:
My "junk" would be in a sling ifin i went south 'tectin without Janet :lmfao:

I was headed to town and saw the sign. Now I needed nothing but you don't see many up here this time of year. I went back and was glad I did. It was a guys garage sale. Some old guy died and they were selling everything off because the house on the river was already sold.

I got a 12 gallon wet/dry shop vac for bucks, rapellas for fifty cents each, pipe clamps for 2 dollars each, branch lopper for two dollars, a Craftsman scroll saw for 9 dollars and a bunch of other stuff. There was an electric chain saw for 5 bucks with three extra chains but I didn't need it. I wish I had gotten it though.

just ask them if they have guy stuff. If they don't, I don't bother

I'd sure like to git my hands on a pile o' them $2 pipe clamps.
As my hero Norm says.." ya can never have too many clamps "

It amazes me some o' the stuff folks find at yard/grage sales that show up on Antiques Road Show worth huge bucks.
