in super tune mode pretty much convinced me it truly is deep. Hunted dry/wet sand with control over digging and was getting pull tabs and ring tabs 12" plus and and half a pull tab 12" plus, probably around 15". I left several targets at waist to shoulder deep at a different site yesterday that I couldn't dig up after 7 or 8 scoops- too much current. Hard to judge depth of target in those conditions- just deep. I am used to digging deep targets with my Excal, Quattro with a 10X14 Excelerator coil and an Infinium. I am now convinced this BHID can hang with any of those detectors for depth, but for discrimination it is somewhere between the Minelabs and the Infinium. Only 2 frequencies. Nevertheless, I am going to be using it a lot. A pleasure to swing.
