WEnt back to my favorite park in hopes of scoring another ring but no such luck - but I did find one helluva antique brooch I'll take ove ten rings..r

Hit my favorite park today and rounded up about $2.75 or so in clad. I keep hoping for some silver as I've been digging a lot of deep, old, cruddy, clad from the late sixties so there has to be some silver there somewhere. Can't believe my recent stroke of luck. Found this mind boggling antique brooch just below the surface at the base of some tall grass where a lot of folks sunbathe. When I pulled it out it about blinded me when the sun bounced off it. Don't know what the stones are - perhaps opal but ain't it one purty sucker. It just glistens in the light. . Really lit my fire.

Going to try to hit it again tomorrow and see if I can scare up some silver or a ring. May have to leave this place alone for awhile and let it ripen up again I've pulled a bunch of stuff out of it

Nice looking broach,a good find..

WOW! That is a cool broach. They just don't show up very often, do they. They are also very collectable too

It looks nice Bill.....is it real or Memorex?

Have no idea but it's old. Had some friends awhile back who had a garage sale and had a bunch of stuff like this marked at twenty five cents to fifty cents. Some guy that was in the jewlry business came by and informed that those items they were selling so cheap go for $1000 a pop to collectors. I may check Ebay and see what stuff like this is going for.

Bill.
