Went back to the soccer fields again and scored about $3.75..

What a muddy mess it was. Got mud all over me and my tools, detector, PP. Left some coins in the ground as they just kept sliding farther down in the mud or sideways in the opening when I tried to retrieve them.. My feet were soaked when I got home but the weather was decent and it was an enjoyable hunt. Felt like I had walked forty miles after covering the fields end to end a jillion times. Think I've pretty well gleaned most of the coins there but I'll go back and look for strays weather permitting.

Nice hunt Bill. I think all the treasure has gone south for the winter where i live. I have been hunting but i have not found anything worth while to post.

Its quieter, there are few people about and no bugs.

Something we ain't bothered with here in Oregon - bugs. No skeeters, chiggers, flies. Don't miss them one bit.

Of course, it helps if you have little to no snow or ice in the winter. This works in SC... probably in Oregon, too.

Yeah we don't get much of that just lots of rain in the winter which I hate. But it does make everything green and beautiful with lots of mountain snow fed rivers all around.
