went back tonight and found gma.....

I went back to the site where I found the Barber dime last night. Hunted the area slowly with the 6-inch DD, listening for narrow signals amongst the huge amount of pull tabs, screw caps and deeply buried nails. Hit a nice solid high tone that would consistently jump in with a TID of 42 between numerous harmonic low tones. After I pulled a deep nail from the edge of the hole, it locked on tight! I love finding the seated ladies! HH Randy

The dime was 5 - 6 inches. The quarter was 7 inches, but had that darned nail a couple inches off to the side. I guess I shouldn't say "darned nail"! If not for that nail, someone else would have likely found the quarter years ago!!! HH Randy

That little 6" coil is very good at the type of hunting you are doing at this site, but I don't need to tell you do I ? LOL!!
You might not be finding those Large Cents up in your part of the country, but you are doing very well with those IH cents and
Seated coins .
