Ron, Jerry, and I hit an old scout camp today.

Here Ron is after digging a nice sterling ring!

Here is Jerry digging another coin!

Jerry left early so I didn't get a pic of his finds. I know he got at least one wheatie. Here are Rons digs. 26 coins including 2 wheats, a 925 ring, a sterling eagle pin, and a nice looking ear ring.

Here are my digs. 51 coins, including 5 wheats 58, 45, 19, 19, 17, a 1940 nickel, a neat old key, and a bunch of doo-dads!

I love nature pics and thought you might enjoy these I took today.

These two mushrooms growing on this old dead log provided a neat pic. Notice the pool of water in the middle of each one. The top one was about 10" across.

Here are a bunch of small ones all sprouting from one spot on an old dead log. The biggest was maybe half dollar size.

Nice digs and great pics! I should take pics of some that I come across. Is that the same camp we hunted?

I guess it's starting to get cool there too? Friday morning is was 78 degrees at 5:30 when I left for work. Did a little huntin' yesterday before work and it was 55 degrees. :)

We had planned on hunting an old park first, but there was a festival going on there when we got there.

Glad you remembered! :)
