Went on a group hunt today

My wife and I went on a group hunt today at a state park. Had a great time visiting and hunting. My wife found her first wheatie. I scored another wheatie and a 1920 Mercury dime. Lots of clad and the typical trash. Really enjoyed the day. We tried our hand at water hunting. Had to stick to the shallows because the machines are not submersible. Had fun and may have been bitten by the water hunting bug. Any thoughts or ideas as to a good basic water hunting machine?

Nice coin! Congrats to Anna on her first wheatie!
Sure was a fun day.
As for water machines, you can get a 1280X Fisher for under $400 used.

Thanks for the picture Mike, someday soon we will get our digital camera replaced so we can post our own pictures. We had a bunch of fun yesterday. Stopped at a small park on the way home and hunted for an hour. I found my first half dollar. It was from 1974, but still pretty exciting to find a half dollar.

Half dollars are hard to come by! :) Congrats!

Congrats Malaquin to you and Anna on finding the wheaties, the silver and the half-dollar! Larger denominations add up the $ quicker!
:)

God Bless!
