Went out beeb & digging for the first time this weekend...

and I really enjoyed myself! I've always been a metered user - it is what I learned and know. But, I am always conscientious as to what the tones are telling me and have learned to base my digging decision more on what I hear and less on what the meter is displaying.
These past 2 days out with my White's 4900 DL Max was a lot of fun and I recovered some nice CW lead and brass. I think I'll be grabbing this detector on my way out more often.

Thanks Big Tim! Recovered these in a previously hard to hunt area - overgrown strip between 2 pastures. It was recently bush hogged & cleared. Headed back out there today...
 
Nice finds! I love Detecting without a Meter as More of a Challenge. And it's fun trying to figure out what target is even though with Tones I can figure it out fairly well.
