found about 5 bucks in clad...a pin that says ....party lite with a pic of a cake n candles...a piece from a singer sewing maching i think,,,it says singer and looks old...and a coin from finland its 10 pennia.penni date 95....so it was fun ..bad news..we were out for about 4 hours.or so....while we were gone one of dogs had escaped from the yard..a nieghbor found it and left us a note on our door to come get him...by the time my hubby got there they had already called the pound....poor Max is sitting in doggie jail and we cant afford to bail him out. :cry:
 
Good finds dobbie! I'm sorry about Max and hope you can get him out soon.
 
don't know of anyone who has found one from Finland yet beside you. Congrats on the finds.

Congrats, dobbie, on being $5.00 richer and sorry about Max! I guess you'll need to go detecting and have some more $5.00 days! Your neighbor could have held onto him a little longer, but maybe he was too large to be keeping or handling! I don't care for German Shepherds myself.....I prefer the smaller dogs....like Cliff's Minature Chihuahua! :) Hope you can get Max back soon! :blink:

update on my precious max. The cost is way too much for us to get him back 221.00. so we decided to surrender him over...BUT....my hubby works with this guy who knows someone who has a german shepard rescue program and he has agreed to adopt max into the program...he will train max in either military or police work...thats what the rescue program is for. max will love it i am sure of it..we will all still miss him very much. we had him for 5 years since he was a pup. but i am glad all worked out..once again OUR GOD IS AN AWESOME GOD........makes me feel better knowing God had his hand on this the whole time.....
 
I really dont have a clue....maybe because this is the 2nd time. the first time was 4 years ago when a neighbor decided they didnt like our dog and let him out when we were gone. it cost us 80 then. he has his shots and is lincensed. he isnt nuetered though. i just dont know. my hubby talked with them. im ok with it though. God has better plans for him...look at me. im going on like he is a human...:blink: thank you all for being so sincere. i really appreciate it. God Bless you guys and gals on here.....and HH

That is really good news, dobbie! So glad everything is working out for Max and all of you! He will be doing a job that is needed and you will know that he is well and doing okay! God is not only good, He is Very Gooooooooood!!! :angel:

you know i was thinking..he could eventually be out there helping find a lost child,or save one of our soldiers, or even help make the streets safer for our kids. thats alot better then having him roam our back yard. its for the best... i would also like to once again thank you all for you genuine heartfilled kindness for a stranger. may God bless you all..
