Went to my first coin shoot . not what I expected :yikes:

I have absolutely no idea of what a "coin shoot" is.

At the beach, I do find lots of coins with holes and pinpoint marks on them ...is this from "coin shooting" ? Is this a sport? Have no idea.

Enlighten me, someone, please

with the gun is MI State Archeologist and the guy with the coin are the detectorists?
 
I know a guy that can shoot a dime with a 22 when you toss it in the air!:surprised:
