Left Friday morning with the wife and 4 kids in tow for TN. We went to stay with my wifes sister. 500 miles and it went smooth and fast. When we got there and settled Friday evening we had home made soup and pizza. Saturday was spent in Nashville. Started the day at the Nashville Symphony. Check out the size of the pipe organ!!! They had events all day all over that place you could pick and choose! Jazz, Concert band, singers, etc...... all free!

There was also a celebration of culture a couple miles away that we went to. Again, all free! Here is a replica of the Parthenon. very big!

Sunday we were going to get together with Doug and his family but it did not work out. :( Next time brother! :)
So we went to a huge used book store and got some goodies. I got two Civil War books for $4.50!!! :)
We then went to the famous Opreyland Hotel. If you have never been there I hope someday you can! It is huge and has three different atrium areas with waterfalls, rare tropical plants, fish etc..... I was there about 12 years ago around Christmas time and they hang thousands of lights and it is even better! :)
Here is Kody, Shelby, and Grace. The girl in the middle back is Rae. She is Kodys girl friend. A wonderful Christian girl. :)

Here is Grace and Shelby in front of a big waterfall. It is about 50 feet behind them and 40 feet tall.

Tell Grace she reminds me of the song: Purple People Eater....only for her they are BLUE! Sorry you missed seeing Doug and Family but a trip is usually too full and very busy....I'm sure you'll see them in the near future....before bad weather, I hope! :) Family trips are so great, me son, sooooo keep a travelling when you are able and have the do-re-me for gas! ;)

God Bless!
