Finally made it to a water park and did some detecting. first time in many years. found 8 quarters, 7 dimes, including a 1952 silver dime, 3 nickels and 11 pennies. two junk jewelry items, 7.62 unfired round, 2 sinkers. been wanting to get to this area since I got permission in april 2017. it was hunted clean except for the coins and hunted heavy because I found scoop holes about every 3-4 steps. enjoyed getting out and leaving lots of stress behind. beautiful day. hit the water for 2-1/2 hours. changed to dry clothes and hit the sand for a little while. my finds didn't pay for the entry fee, much less the gas for the long ride, but the joy of detecting was priceless. happy hunting.

Jealous now. We just get to see a patch of green and Bam another round hit us! Weather said maybe an inch into Saturday morning so plowed the place all pretty Friday. Woke up and more like 2-3” and 30mph winds 
.
Plowed again...... they say 52 on Friday so not believing it until I see it. Meanwhile I will keep living vicariously thru all ya all!!!
