West Point (United States Military Academy) Pendant

OK, so far I have managed to figure out that I found a West Point (United States Military Academy) Pendant.

Found about 3" down into the hard-pan below about another 3" of softer sand on the top.
I found this with an older Excalibur 800 this afternoon at a local freshwater beach.
There are no markings on the pendant although it does seem to be gold, or at least gold filled.

Does anybody know where I can find more detailed information on a something like this?
You know; like what year or any other particulars. Thanks in advance.

:minelab:

reads 1802.
That was the year Congress approved legislation establishing WEST POINT.
As for the year oyur pin was made. Narry a clue.

Try contacting West Point directly. I'm sure they have a website and can identify it for you.

Good luck!
