I am in Kelso also... brand new to the hobby. Been out as much as i can over the past month with limited success. couple silver Roosevelt dimes, an old ring 18k HGE (heavy gold electroplate) with about a 2k garnet in it, a silver spoon (possibly plated, i cant tell) a ton of modern clad coins, and more hot-wheels than any kid needs. I'm pretty interested in finding old coins (although i have not been very successful yet). I have been to most of the parks, the old Kelso high school, the old peter Crawford homestead (which is from what i can tell by all the used needles, turned into a hideout for heroin junkies), and a few friends yards. Interested in finding people to hunt with, and ideas for new places to hunt...
