Just got back from Daytona beach this morning with the Deus , after watching YouTube videos about all the chatter on Wet beach program, granted their was a little chatter but not enough to distract you, it worked great on wet sand and a couple of inches of water , but the strange thing I found was dry beach couldn't ground balance on dry sand , of course each beach is different , but I tried to auto balance with pumping and it failed all over, and was giving me a lot of feedback, so I went to wet beach program on dry sand, and it worked perfect, no chatter at all, I'm not that knowledgeable about detectors, but maybe one of you could tell me what I did wrong, I didn't try manual ground balance, found a few coins, in about an hour but it was way to hot, fooled around with other programs, but the wet beach program worked the best, and the wife was complaining, so home I came.
