Wet sand Beach detecting

Anyone used the GPX5000 for wet sand beach detecting?

I'm interested to know if you found the Salt/Gold timing good for small jewellery like a small gold earing etc.?
Also, can anyone give feedback after using the Coin/Relic timing on the wet sand?
