What additional coil would you purchase for a Whites M6

Still using the stock coil from original purchase. I hunt most of the time in parks, yards and urban areas. Which additional coil would any of you purchase for this machine. I went to Kelly co and they have the DD6 as well as butter fly big coils. I do love the M6 but I hope to get more separation and depth with another coil. What do any of you think?

Thanks
Ned

Don't know anything bout m6...Larry would be the person to ask.

Hi Ned,

By the way, I love your name. That was my Dad's name.

As for an additional coin for your M-6, I would choose the 5.3 coil. The downfall with that coil is that it won't go as deep as your stock coil, but it separates like no other. I have the MXT. I personally LOVE my stock coil for deep targets. That's my coil that stays on my machine 98% of the time. Why don't you like your stock coil? It's got great depth in my opinion?

I have many coils and the only one I might consider using is my 8" butterfly coil. It's been so long since I've used it, I'll have to give it a try this Spring, (which can't come fast enough).

You've got a lot of extra time to research coils. I'm sure Larry will chime in also. HH, Nancy

Thanks Larry, maybe I do not need another coil. Seems like I just am not getting hits on the six inch plus deep targets much anymore. I also owned the coinmaster pro and seems like that machine would go down ten inches in wet soil. It might be my imagination. I too cannot wait to get outside and play. This is some crazy frozen tundra. I say this is a replica winter of 1978 or 1979. Started a list of places to go check out as soon as it warms up. Good luck to everyone and thanks.

Hey Ned, It's Nancy, NOT Larry that posted earlier. :surrender:

I think you'll do just fine with the coil you have and save your money.

HH,
Nancy

I think you would like the Kellyco SEF 8X6 Ned, lighter, great separation and coverage and good depth as well.

Thanks everyone! It really helps to so much experience from all of you to fall back on. Also it saves hard earned cash. 40 to 50 degrees next week. At least that what they said on the radio today.

Ned

It might be warmer temps but this ground will still be frozen solid.

We're all ready to get out and play in the dirt.
