What am I doing wrong? I can't get the @#$%* AA batteries into the pack...

Am I missing something here? I have tried two brands of batteries (one is a smidge shorter than the other) but they still will not fit into the battery pack. They are like 1/16 to 1/8 inch too long. I don't want to force it. What's the secret??

Ok, four brands of batteries later, I finally got Ray-O-Vacs jammed in there. Sheesh.

Energizer fit easily in mine. Check the springs in the pack itself, they might need to be pushed in some. You probably did that when you got the batteries to fit. Aren't all batteries a standard height???

I think there are some slight differences in AA battery size only small differences but the differences add up.. The easiest way around fitting tight batteries is to place 1 battery at the top of the pack and 1 at the bottom then squeeze the middle ones in..

They all fit tight, very tight. Just don't break the case.
