Got up at my usual time this morning, 0430. I had a day of hunting planned, made my coffee, oatmeal, read some on line news and packed up the CTX & AT Pro. Hauled everything out to my truck and came back in to take my dog out so the wife would not have to get up with her. Kelsey, my dog, did her thing out back and up stairs we came.... as I grabbed my thermos to quietly get out the front door, my wife appears from upstairs.... something about her look... not disappointed, just kinda wanting something.....made my heart stop. She never said anything about me going hunting, but suddenly hunting was the last thing I wanted to do today. We went shopping, I'm NOT a shopper, we had lunch out, we drove around and talked, and talked and talked, went to some antique shops... guess what I'm saying is MDing is one hell of a good hobby, but it sure does not compare to one hell of a good wife.... one hell of a good life!

I know that look. Been married to one of the best for almost 49 years. I don't like shopping (except for my toys) but a day with her is always sweet. You also are a lucky man.

Yep, every so often have to stop and smell the roses and that isn't just following a detector around. Mine is very understanding. She has to be. She has put up with me for over half a century. Neat post! HH jim tn
