What are the benfits of putting a 7x11 dd on a Gamma or Omega?

Are you asking verses the 10" concentric? If so, the dd is much better in trash and gets a little more depth. It does, though, like bottle caps better, but one can usually figure those out. HH jim tn
 
Frank, I don't have the 5x10" for my Omega, so don't know how much, if any, difference there would be between 5x10 and 7x10. Probably not enough to merit it. What I strongly would suggest, though, is getting the 5"dd. That sweet little thing is a lazier in heavy trash. I know what it can do and it still continues to amaze me with what it can do. Frank, you'd gain a little more depth with the 11 inch DD coil over the 5 x 10 DD coil, but lose some sensitivity to small gold jewelry. Also the pinpointing is a little easier with the 5 x 10 coil. It's also a tad lighter. Both are good coils.

Jim is right about the 5 inch DD coil. It's a must have in trashy areas.
