What are the Optimal Settings for the Explorer SE?

Does anyone know what the optimal settings are on the SE for optimal depth for the standard coil that comes with the detector?

My set up is pretty simple.
I run my sens up to where it's not chattering.
Run in Iron Mode on with about 1/4 inch black on the left
Threshold just to where I hear it.

Is there more I can do to increase depth?

I believe you will gain a little more depth by running wide open with no iron discrimination (all white screen) .. The trade off being that you have to listen to everything the coil passes over. Try it out ..

On YouTube a British man uses some interesting settings.

He sets the NOISE CANCEL to #1
Gain between 7 & 8
Sensetivity all the way up.

He says the #1 setting in Noise Cancel puts the detector in a frequency better suited to smaller silver coins.
He finds pretty deep small silver too with his setup and really small buttons.
