What are these little metal doodas

I keep finding these little buggers on a soccer/football field. Usually near the end zone/goal posts. Do they have to do with goalie nets or secure something? TID around 25.
I'm also posting on the "Whatzit Forum".

I have looked on many soccer websites that sold everything from goals to clothing . i cant find any info about them myself , they aren't or don't even seem to be net ties . Those are mostly U-shaped and also use the plastic Zip ties . I wish you the best of luck figuring this one out . maybe there is someone here that has a youngster that plays soccer here somewhere .

usually lots of those ace bandage grabbers on the soccer fields that ring just like a nickle! Your doing good Neita...keep hitting those low signals, every once in a while, one turns out to be something gold and shiny!

Yeah.... I have found my share of those Ace Bandage clips also. I played soccer for many many years and are not familiar with these "clips". These buggers are much smaller, very thin and made of very soft metal. I will ask one of the park's maintenance guys if they have seen them when I run into them.
