I hope I did these pics right, some of this if it works I know what they are some I dont, bullet, buttons, grape shot, coins if interested and can't see dates I will give them to you. Again I hope the pics work. By the what is the large pice at bottom of one of the pics?

Totally cool finds Rog, but the pictures don't get any bigger when you click on them so I can't see them very good. I'm dying to know about the coins. Love the old bullets and relics also. HH, Nancy

Thanks Nancy, maybe these pics will be a little better. 1881 S $5 gold piece, 1904 Indian head, 1943 wheat, two of them,1949 wheat,1904 V nickel, ? V nickel, 1876 seated liberty, ? seated liberty, ? buffalo nickel, 1939 mexican coin?, and a 50 sen ? I found these under the porch of a house about 120 years old, they all in one neat little pile, the house was my grand fathers, no one has lived in for 30 years, haven't detected the whole yard yet.I got hooked on civil war relics, a lotof history here where I live, am working a union encampment now just south of Dandridge where I live. Will try to post some more pictures, and try to make them better don't know how to post them so they will enlarge yet but I will try to work that out.

OMG, I had to pick myself off the floor. A $5 gold coin doesn't show up too often. Are you going to put a bezel around it and wear it as a pendant? That's what Larry did with his French 1800's gold coin. Looks pretty good too. The other coins are a sight for sore eyes also. I bet you are still walking on the clouds. What great finds and I bet you can't wait to go back to your grandfather's yard and detect it over and over and over again! WOW, BIG congratulations Rog. We'll be waiting for more posts. HH, Nancy

Wow!!:jump: gotta be the best spill of coins I've ever seen!:surprised:

Uh huh. My guess on the large piece is it might be the remains of an eagle bust from a flagpole or similar.
