What coil would you keep? WOT or SEF 15" x 12"

It's slow so I thought I'd ask for opinions because of the wealth of experience on this forum. I have both coils and mainly used the SEF and it is stable on the salt beach. I plan on using the WOT next trip to the shore to know more first hand and do some testing on small dime sized targets. I once had the idea of buying a second Excalibur to wire up the WOT on but that my not happen anytime soon. So I was thinking of keeping only one big 15" coil, maybe getting a 12x10" SEF or 13" ultimate instead. Like I said, it's slow now with really crappy weather so I'm taking inventory, deciding what I really do and don't need. If I wasn't clear this for my Sov GT.
Thanks & HH - Bruce

Bruce,I would keep the 15x12 SEF since it works for you. The 12x10 SEF is a great coil, very stable, excellent depth and separation. HH Ron

Ron, thank you for your input!

Bruce, Had the 15x12 SEF, 10x12 SEF and the 13" Ultimate. Didn't care for the 15 x 12 at all ( on our beaches ), liked the 13" Ultimate, very stable, sensitive and lite. However, for me the 10x12 SEF was the keeper because I already did the plexiglass mod on it and didn't need two coils that the performance was about the same...for me anyway.

With that said, if you do a lot of field hunting ( which I think you do ) the 13" Ultimate may be the ticket you're looking for. Jeff and Rich can't say enough good things about theirs, but I think you already know that. :)

I would keep the 15" WOT Coil,,it's heavy but the deepest I've used.I use mine on my GT for the beach 99% of the time??The WOT goes with me on every hunt..

I used both coils and liked the WOT more. The only thing is that it gets heavy after a couple of hours on the beach. If I go to the beach I search for at least 7 hours, so I started to use a bungee cord and that does help.
