what detector or detectors do you use?

The Vaquero and silver umax as a backup Steve, I had the 1266x. Back some years ago it was a Dandy of a machine very deep!

Explorer II for deep old coins and relics.
Fisher CZ 21 and CZ 20 for water hunting
Exterra 30 for competition, tot lots, and winter hunting.
I also use a Sunray X-1 probe on my Explorer.

SeniorSeeker - I use the Minelab X-terra 505, the Garrett Pro Pointer, and the Wilcox Pro100 Digger. I've also owned and used other Minelab's, Whites, and Garrett's machines; some dating back over 30 years.

I also had a Whites Eagle SL2, a Whites Spectrum and a Whites DFX. Still have the Spectrum but I drowned it!! Poor thing.

X-Terra 305 ...... first detector. Had it a month. First gold and silver yesterday so pretty happy so far.

Still having a little trouble pinpointing with it and sometimes digging too big a hole to retrieve the target.

Hi Hank! I am not able to do any any more but when I did I used the White's Detectors and my last one is a White's Spectrum XLT hip mount and I just loved it....good detect almost all day without my swinging arm getting so tired and sore! Greetings Norge! It's good to hear you're enjoying your detecting with your 'New' Minelab X-terra 305. There's nothing lika a to find the goodies! I presently hunt with a X-terra 505 and enjoy it. My previous machine was an X-terra 70 and I've used White's and Garrentt's as well but I'll use nothing but a from now on.
