What do gold coins register on the XLT

Hello,

I have never found a gold coin, and do not have access to any. What do the register as?
I hunt in coin mode on the xlt. I was wondering if I would miss it if I happened upon one.

I have been told they are all over the place. $20 dollar is supposed to be in the high coin range.As far as I know it's all downwards from the $20.

The US $5 gold coin = +50
The US $2.50 gold coin = +31
The US $1 gold coin = +18
Of course, give these numbers a +/- of 2.
