What can you possibly apply to Jesus finish work at the cross to gain true saving faith and be saved?Thank you

True. I posed this question because I want to find out who here is basing their salvation by merits and good works. We are called to do works after we become regenerate by the Spirit of God by doing the great commission and serving our local church and so on.The churches are becoming worldly and depending more on self and religious acts of flesh rather than On God.

The way one knows that they are trully saved is by this :

Do you hate the sin you once loved?

CLick on this link its Great read

When it's a person's time to be saved, God reaches into a person's heart and calibrates it so that person can understand the truth. Our Creator downloads His Holy Spirit and supplies the faith to that person in order to be saved. Yahweh is the One that supplies the faith to believe in His Son as Savior. God said that nobody chases after Him. We don't muster up our own faith to believe in Jesus. And we're saved to do good works for the glory of God. Daily self-examination is a necessary part of our Christianity. That self-examination has to be brutally honest. What kind of fruit is the tree producing? I'm not sure if I understand your question correctly, so if I'm way off base, please tell me. ><>

You hit the nail dead on.You can say the truine God is the one who supply faith too.;)

Thanks rapture for the good article to read and self-examine ourself.....Should be read by everyone who professes to be a Christian to see if they are one or not!  Ma Betty
