What happened to post about the proposed TV show?

Maybe Mike can help me regarding an enquiry I made on the T2 forum.

I quote the part of that post which interested me.

I have provided a link for you Matt where I pertained the information about the extra depth of setting the Disc to 50 on the T2. This information came from Mike Scott from First Texas'

(The so called link was simply findmall.com., which means you end up where you started}..!!!!!!!

Can you expand on your supposed comment please Mike?........MattR.UK.

the original post about this stated that the f-75 and the t-2 had a disc. level that when reached the depth or sensitivity level increased. i noticed on the t-2 as soon as my disc. level hits 50 its starts to chatter. i haven't been able to tell if it increases depth because i haven't been able to find anything deep. i've been trying hard but no deep targets yet. hope mike gets back to you to explain it better.

Don't try to imply something that isn't happening If you can't accept what was said about it here, so be it.

For what ever reason, Tinfoil deleted his post. You will need to contact him about why.

Mike Scott asked the post be removed, because it was to be posted up for only the weekend. I left it up to the following Tuesday.

Are you having a problem with this ?

Mr.Bill

i tried it out in the u.k last weekend .increased disc to 51 instead of the 10 i normally work at .all i found was it actually quietened down the target response and increased the chatter ,no deep or deeper finds at all the only thing i can see this doing is that it makes the targets sound quieter so you think your digging iffy signals when in fact your not (this is based on u.k soil conditions so it may differ stateside ) (or even different areas of the u.k)

What are you on about?

Keep your shirt on and don't get nickers in a twist over an innocent post.

My post was there as a light hearted query regarding the unusual deletion of perfectly normal posts by Tinfoil, as were others enquiring about the situation.

Who are the 'knockers' that are being referred to?

Tin has explained his reason, you have explained why Mike's went AWOL.

A simple statement was all that was required without you adding your own tetchy comment.

'Writings in the sand' was implying nothing other than the transient nature of things.

If you need it explaining, it was a literal play on the theme of tinfoil's helpful commentary regarding HIS perception of the F75's performance on wet sand.....and then it disappeared..deleted...washed away....
