What Headphones do you use for Exp SE?

Best money I ever spent on Headphones, the comfort is great, the warranty great, but most of all, the sound quality compared to others is really the best feature I like. Perhaps the only down side to them is when hunting with my son, I must take on earphone off the ear to be able to hear him yell to me, but that is also a great feature if you want a block out of external noises, like waves at the ocean............Have had my pair for approx. 7 years now.

After listening to what Bryce was hearing over deeper silver coins with his pair...I realized I wasn't hearing the same with my koss.
I ordered me a new pair of Sunrays from Detector Depot and love the high sound they give on silver.

I have tried several headphones over the years and currently use Ratphones. I'm not an authority on all of them by no means but I can tell you that it's better to use a pair that is specifically made for use on a detector. There are a lot of headphones out there that are advertised for detecting that are really "general use" and really for listning to music and modulate way too much to allow for a user to hear the difference in pitch that we need to tell the difference on hits in the ground. In this business sound is everything. Take your time and search carefully for the right headphones for you. Using a cheap set of headphones on a Minelab is like putting a set of bald tires on a race car. The investment is worth it. Good Hunting!

Gray ghost orignals work the best for my ears and fit nice as well :detecting:
