What I found this Sunday!

James N.D.

Tried 2 different spots today which consisted of a Park and a School Yard. I didn't have much luck at the Park and only found 4 Wheaties for my efforts. The School Yard is where I had better luck. I found 3 more Silver today. They are 1 1945-d Washington Quarter, 1 1918 Mercury Dime, and 1 1957-d Roosevelt Dime. I also found 4 Tokens today. 1 is Good For $5.00 In Trade, 1 is Good For $2.00 In Trade, and the other 2 are Good For $1.00 In Trade. They all are from Jaeger's General Mdse. Store / Woodstock, Minn. I found the $5.00 Token first and then I found the other 3 Tokens in 1 hole. I also found another 14 Wheaties and the dates are 1909,1921,1938-s,1941-d,1942-d,1944,1945-s,1946-d,1947-s,1950-d,1952-d,1953-d,1955-d, and 1956-d. I also found another US Pin that has the threaded back on it and a Junk Ring. Now to see what else I can find in the next 2 days. What can I say James!! With all the nice stuff you have been finding I expect to see your face and all your finds in the Lost Treasure magazine one of these days............:)Nice finds and great tokens. HH.

So how many silver coins have you found so far this year? I'm sure you number is through the roof when compared to the rest of us!

I think I will wait though until the end of the year so I can keep hitting the Silver more. If I know how many I have I think it might make it harder to find them and I don't want that. Sorry, but I do know this though, it is over 100 for sure.

My name has already been in 1 or 2 magazines for the Club listings finds. Would be great to make it on the front cover sometime but you would really need to find something special for that to happen.

At the rate James, Tim, and Barber boy is finding them no wonder the rest of us don't find much around here. I know Tims total was over 300 last year with 14 of them Half's and James was not far behind if I remember right. Just wonder if they will break last years totals?

I can go back and count the totals for each year since I cataloged them all from each other as far as separate years. Will have results hopefully tonight. Got to get going and see what else I can find today.

James, nice finds. I wish I could get out detecting just 10% of the time that you get out.

Were you anywhere near Woodstock, MN when you found the tokens? I see that Woodstock is in the very Southwest corner of MN, no where near you.

Mike

With all the tokens I've found I have never found an assortment like that from the same place. In fact I have never seen a $5 token. It'll be neat to see the research on them when your done. Nice pile of loot again and congratulations on a ton of wheats.

Sure was a shock to get that many Tokens and all from the same town.

I actually found the Tokens in Enderlin, ND. Isn't kind of funny how far some Tokens end up away from the town that they were used at? Neat Tokens I thought and hope you are doing okay with the time you get out and hopefully you are making a few nice finds. Good Luck and HH.
