What in the hell is going on with this stinking forum?

Every time I come to any of the Findmall forums I have to re-register and each time I try to make a post it is rejected until I re-register again. What a crock. Anybody else having this problem or is this a hint from Gary for me to leave?

If you have removed the cookies from your computer you have to reregister, but not more than once unless there is a problem with your computer or, as you suspect, a glitch with the forum.

I've found over the last couple of months that I come on as a visitor. I've had one occassion that tried to tell me to reregister, but I went out and came back in again. i've seen several posts on some of the other findmall forums with the same problem. It's been going on for a while.

you may have changed the way cookies are handled at your end. you MUST ACCEPT them otherwise you will need to log in each time.

Did you just go through an upgrade to Internet Explorer version 8?
If so, you should check your settings as describes in the above-mentioned post.

I've had the same problem, but I think I found the reason on my end.
Every time I get an update on my Firefox browser, which there's been a few lately, I gotta reenter everything
and twice had to get a new password. I THINK that wuz my problem, anyway.

I have had that problem several times and I have sent numerous responses to the powers to be! I have had to change my password 3 times now. What I have done (and I know it is a pain) is to get a temporary password and then go back and edit your info and redo your password or change it. So far the 3rd (4th) time is charm.

I am with you man I told them the last time it is becoming very frustrating and a pain!

I don't have any problem getting on and reading, but I just tried to reply to a post on the Findmall Xterra forum and it was only there a few seconds and then it was gone!

Did you re-register? I have to sign in everytime I come here and often everytime I want to make a post.. Then if I go to another Findmall forum I have to go through all that crap again.

So far my last "fix" has worked and I have not had any problems (yet) but this is what I have had to do.

1) Get a temporary password

2) Wait a few minutes and one will be sent to your email.

3) Use the temp. password to log on.

4) Go up to the top of the page to control center.

5) Go to edit and change your password to a new one

6) Cross your fingers that it will work from there on out.
