What is a good price

Someone offered me a Tesoro Vaquero, the detector appears to be in good working condition but I have never ran a Tesoro so I would not know if it is good or not what would it be worth, person is asking $150 so thought I would check with you Tesoro people, they also have a Super Trac they are looking to sell

was the Vaquero a good detector as I said I know little to nothing about Tesoro detectors so I am at the mercy of all you tesoro users being honest about the Tesoro Vaquero they are asking the same price for the Lobo Super trac

The V is an excellent detector. Simple, light, deep, quiet and fast. I've never used a lobo st.

Thanks for the responses, only thing I know about the LOBO ST is it was a gold detector LOL, which is rite up my alley, I think I can get them both for $200-$250 if I offer this person that just trying to decide if I want to jump on the deal

No question, the V is worth $250 or so alone and the lobo should be around that too.
Not only will you get to try them but if you decide you don't like them but you could even sell them and make a profit.

I have a Vaquero and would in no way part with it for $150!
It is a very good detector with excellent disc.
Works well in iron filled sites, very light, and runs quiet until it gets over something good.
They listed (in their catalog),for about $525 towards the end of production
The Super Trac listed for about $799 I believe.
Another plus with that Vaquero is it has a manual adjustable ground balance which is nice if you have changing ground conditions out your way.
Also, the coils are interchangeable between the two.

Sold for around $700.
I'd get them both. Now ...

I agree…, the only deal I heard better than this one is from a guy that says he bought a Super Trac at Goodwill for $50 and says it looked brand new!!
