What is a joy coil for the multi-frequency machines.

Hi Mark, do you mean the Joey coils made by Coiltek?

Google Coiltek Coils all the info is on this site.

Regards

Les.

You made me chuckle on that one. But i think you are talking about the Joey coil like Les said. Good small coil, but they are NOT water proof. They use them in Aussy land for gold hunting in hard to get to places. They work pretty darn good in parks.

they are very sensitive for small pieces and not deep its for sure, had one, used few days and was not very happy, but possibly I was not totally right, because I was not enough experienced with explorer to say if its good or bad. but what I remember not deep and very sensitive to tiny pieces of metals. better for Europe but not US. sadly sold and not open how its look inside :stretcher: if any body have not working Joe, let me know I will operate it with Joy! I got one that I only used a couple of times. If you are interested I will make you a good deal on it. I have a buddy in our club who has one on his XS and does quite well with it. Send me a PM if you want the one I have.
