What is Fast Tune

All motion based vlf detectors have to have a automatic retune circuit to keep the detector running smooth. This is were a Tesoro shines. They have a lightening fast retune circuit. Some type digital detectors can have a very slow retune rate due to the extra processing that is done. That makes for a bad detector in iron and heavy trash.Slower retune can have some benefits, such as deeper targets. The Outlaw has a slower retune rate than the golden. The goldens retune is very fast due to the fact it was designed to be more effective in high trash type areas. If the detector has a true no motion feature such as the Outlaw, the operator can retune the detector manually with the retune button. The Tejon has a fast all metal retune pinpoint mode, and a slower retune all metal motion mode.So retune rates can run from superfast to very slow. :-D

Thanks. I call that recovery speed on my Safari. Both are same but just named different. The Golden has a super fast recovery or retune rate.
