Any idea what it is, about the diameter of a
dime and about 1/8 " thick? Richard
 
SRY is related to sexual gender. It appears to be dated 1976. Might be some sort of fraternity or organization item. No clue really.

Looks to me to maybe be a lead seal used to keep packages from being opened.
