Took the CoRe back to the "large caliber rim fire patch" yesterday and found more .56-.56 Spencer cases and also found this...

Since I found it with the Nokta I thought I would post it here first. Any ideas what this is? It's brass. I was leaning towards firearm hardware but can't find anything on the net that matches.

Thoughts? Thanks!

Great thought, Mike. Even looks like it has some wear on the outer edge like a heel would. Thanks for your response!
