What is the best 15"+ coil for Explorer SE Pro?

What is the best 15"+ coil for Explorer SE Pro. I need a coil that is at least as stable as the stock 11" Pro coil and goes at least 2-3" deeper. Thanks in advance.

The new 12x15 SEF coil was a little scary when I first opened the box and saw how big it looked! After mounting this monster on a rod and putting it on the Explorer 2, it wasn't that bad. Don

I'm sold on the 15" WOT for my SE. The VERY FIRST TIME I used it I found a platinum ring worth 4X what I paid for the coil. Cant beat that!!

I'm using an SEF 12 x 15. I can tell you that it goes deep, pinpoints and balances well and I can run at a higher Sensivity than I could using the 10.5 SlimLine on my SE.

Thanks a lot for your replies. A lot of people seem to be happy with their 15" WOT coils, while the opinions about the SEF coils are not always too good. So I am going to get the 15" WOT coil.

My advise to you is to buy first choise "MINELAB COILS" I bought SEF 15x12 and it works great coveing so much y fast for long beach ........But about deep mmmmmmmmm let me tell you that the SEF goes a little bit more deep according with several test I did, but it depend the size of the target. If the target is a chain FORGET IT!!!!!! and also if the target is very small FOrget about it.

The original Coil find more things also some chains...... but it means more work

HAPPY DETECTING

I have the WOT and imo, it's as sensitive or almost as sensitive as the standard. Not sure how it compares to the pro coil though. The butterfly coil seems interesting, I'd be looking for depth on small rings.

See.. I've had the opposite experience. With my 15 x 12 SEF, I have found very small targets especially deep (10 to 11 inches). I've found larger objects deeper and in wet beach sand I've found coins at 14.
