What is the best to make water tight pots?

If one is to install PI components into the Pelican 1060, what is the best way to make the pots water tight? Use 'O' rings? Drill tight through holes where the pots set into, but how do you seal the pot shaft? Any help will be greatly appreciated.
What I am looking for is if I drop or water gets on the PI it won't cause a problem. I nugget shoot around many different types of water situations.

I used mil-spec stainless steel pots with Hexseals to seal the shafts. I've done this to a GQ and 2 Sovereigns with no failures as of yet. I do all my hunting at the beach in or near water in all weather conditions.

What I am trying to do is make my CS6 water tight. Reg and I have tweeked the CS6 that it is no longer the stock. On my CS6 are now 5 pots and two switches. With the electronics I have added to the CS6 and the tweeking I do all the time I wanted to change the enclosure to an easier one to open and close. Also have the choice to side mount the CS6. Pelican 1060 seems to be an enclosure I could use.
Where can I purchase waterproof pots? Mouser, DigiKey, Newark etc...

The box will be fine.
What you use for the pots are sealed hex nuts to hold the pots on. Other words the nut that now secures the pot to the case will be replaced by a nut that has a seal on it. This will waterproof the pots. You use the same type of nut to secure the switch
