What is the difference

between the explorer xs, II and SE?

SE > II > XS ..... lots of opinions/info if you search the archives here. SE Pro and E-Trac are the two top of the line Minelab models out there right now.

Ill try to give it to you in a nut shell. Let me say if you have mastered any of them there isnt a lot of depth difference or advantage one has over the other in the field. Ive hunted with people that prefer the XS and can really use it. There are coil differences with the II having the advantage on the standard coil. The SE is supposed have a faster processor, yet the II may be more stable. The SE is easier to pinpoint with VCO and still reads the target during pinpointing. The XS only has Con digits the other two has Ferr and Cond which improves TID. Some of the adjustment ranges were changed.... such as IM factory setting of 16 vs 22 on the SE.as well as the sensitivity. The best change has come with the SE Pro where they added the pro coil... which can be use of the others. Im sure i left out a lot but others may add some info for you, You can also down load the manuals from ML.

I would add that they all the same slow  or the same fast. I have agree better pinpoint on SE and pro coil is advantage, but pro coil you can use on any. everything ells is not. Stasys

[size=large]if you own one of the three then you owe it to yourself to get the manual written by Andy Sabisch. he gives a very good explanation.
