What is the MAH rating on standard AA alkaline battery? *N/T*

MAH = Milli Ampere Hour.
It's a fancy way of saying a 1200 MAH batt can supply 1.2 amps for one hour, after that time and load the battery would normally be considered "flat".
Retrospectively for a rechargable battery with a 1200 MAH rating, this may also be used as a guide to fast charge the battery or array for one hour at 1.2 amps max.

Hi Buzz,
Normally, MAH refers to the current capability of the battery in Milli-Amp Hours. So, if a NiMh has a rating of 1600 MAH, the battery is basically capable of generating 1600 ma for 1 hour, or 16 ma for 100 hrs, etc.
The higher the MAH, generally means the battery has a longer run time.
